learn moreAfter graduating with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University, Dr. Joshi went on to medical school at St. George’s University where he graduated first in his class. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida after which he practiced comprehensive ophthalmology. He went on for sub-speciality training at the University of Florida to become a vitreoretinal surgeon. After fellowship, he remained in Gainesville to stay on as faculty at the University of Florida. He dedicated his time to Veterans as the Chief of Vitreoretinal Surgery as well as the Ophthalmology Residency Site Director at the VA Hospital. He has extensively trained many residents as well as retina fellows and was considered to be among the best surgical educators at the University.
meet dr. joshiDr. David Gorman graduated from New York University Medical School and completed residencies in Medicine, then Ophthalmology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He completed two fellowships: 1) Corneal Disease and Corneal Transplantation at the Cornea-Plastic Unit in East Grinstead, England, and 2) Cataract Surgery with Dr. Manus Kraff in Chicago, Illinois. He returned to New York to work with Dr. Robert Coles, and then opened his own practice in Manhattan in 1986. Dr. Gorman specializes in Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgery.
