Joshi Eye Institute is proud to welcome Dr. Jackson L. Goldberg, MD, to our team as a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Refractive Cataract Surgeon.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Goldberg is now proud to call Palm Beach County home. He provides comprehensive ophthalmic care for patients of all ages, with expertise in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and dry eye disease.
Dr. Goldberg performs a wide range of advanced ophthalmic procedures, including refractive and complex cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), advanced dry eye treatments, eyelid procedures, and other surgical and nonsurgical treatments. He is committed to combining modern technology, clinical expertise, and individualized care to help each patient achieve the best possible vision and eye health.
Dr. Goldberg graduated with high honors from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. During medical school, he was selected for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), one of the most prestigious medical honor societies in the United States.
He completed his internship at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin and went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Goldberg is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Palm Beach County Ophthalmology Society, and Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches.
Dr. Goldberg believes that exceptional ophthalmic care goes beyond treating any condition- it means taking the time to understand each patient, listen to their concerns, and develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs and goals.
He finds great fulfillment in helping patients experience meaningful improvements in their vision and quality of life. His passion for ophthalmology is rooted in the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of his patients through compassionate care, advanced technology, and evidence-based treatment.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Goldberg enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, collecting timepieces, and following sports- particularly cheering on the Texas Longhorns. He also values giving back to and staying involved in his local community.
